Brandy Head

About Me

When we are confronted with life's challenges, we can become overwhelmed and lose hope. My goal is to assist my clients in finding hope, healing for the emotional wounds, and their individualized path to recovery. I seek to create an atmosphere that is warm and empathetic while encouraging clients to be open to deep and profound exploration. This dynamic has proven to foster the kind of environment I believe is conducive to growth and change. I believe the foundation to a success is a strong and balanced therapeutic relationship.
As a therapist, I tailor my approach to the needs of an individual. Cognitive behavioral therapy, a systems approach, solution focused therapy, and narrative therapy are some of the ways I approach assisting a client in dealing with complex issues. I can interact with you in whatever manner you are most comfortable. I find it helpful to participate in video sessions so that we can get to know each other better. But I am also available to you via phone and text if that is more comfortable for you. I know how hard it can be to find a counselor who you feel a connection with and I would be honored to work with you through this stage of your life.

Working with Brandy was my first experience with counseling and it was certainly a good one. Her manner of speaking is both encouraging and calming and she always finds kind words, useful advice, or a helpful story to relate to whatever is being discussed. She is very knowledgeable about CBT and shares many great resources that provide practical and effective strategies to improve mental health.
