About Me
I specialize in addiction, anxiety, grief, anger, depression, and coping issues. Are you wondering if you need rehab? I have done over 7000 substance abuse assessments in my career. I can provide experienced clinical input and advice. If you need help making a decision about substance abuse treatment, I’d be honored to assist you.
I’m a versatile, practical therapist who can help with a variety of mood, coping, and adjustment issues. I’ve helped thousands of people along this path. I also specialize in anxiety, which is an epidemic in today’s high-stress world. I am solution-focused and narrative primarily. I also have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I’ve trained with internationally-renowned therapists, including David Epston (co-author of Narrative Means to Therapeutic Ends). Among my peers, I’m considered a “go-to” counselor. The life-changing mentoring and guidance I received from counselors, professors and peers led me to write The Conflict Etiquette Handbook. I am passionate and ready to help.

Great!
Brian is amazing. I always look forward to our sessions!
Great help!
Brian has been a joyful, positive, experienced and responsive therapist that has really helped me develop my understanding of myself and tackle issues head on with empathy and open discussion.
This counselor is very supportive, but not afraid to ask the hard questions. I always feel better when I finish a session with him and I'm always glad he is there for me via text. He's open, honest, funny, helpful and encouraging.
Brian has been a great counselor so far. He is very responsive to messaging, and takes time to listen, process what is being said, and respond in a clear and helpful manner.
Brian is incredible! He has helped me more than anyone else I have talked to before.
Brian listens to my concerns and I feel like we collaborate well. You know you have found a good therapist when you can express your thoughts and feelings in a constructive way. I am very happy with my experience so far.
Great, approachable and non judgemental
