Dr. Burgess is VERY understanding, catches on quick, is very respectful. You do not have to explain things to him over and over because he's on it. I recommend him if you need a good listener.
Dr. Brian Burgess is an exceptionally talented therapist. He's highly knowledgable and experienced in his field, and a genuine pleasure to work with. I really love his straightforward, down to earth attitude and his ability to challenge me in all the right ways to address the patterns of thinking I have that are getting in the way of me achieving my goals. I feel incredibly lucky to have found him, two huge thumbs up.
Dr. Burgess has made me feel comfortable with sharing my experiences and has already given me tools to better deal with my issues.
My partner and I are beyond hope and we're failing. But, Brian did the best job anyone could have done in helping us try to save our relationship. He is truly fantastic at what he does. I felt that Brian knew how to push us hard toward resolutions, but with a welcome, gentle touch. I actually looked forward to our counseling sessions. That's never been the case with me before. Anyway, to sum up, Brian gets all thumbs way up!
Dr.Burgess seems very helpful and understanding .
Very helpful and responsive.
Dr. Burgess, right off the bat, made me feel safe and confident in sharing. He's an incredible listener and brings up thoughtful ideas or suggestions without being overbearing. It has been a surprisingly helpful experience, especially because this is my first time doing something like this.
He is the best!
Dr. Burgess is one of the best counselors I have had. He is understanding and supportive while keeping me on track throughout our conversations. Which helps since I tend to ramble at times.
I have had many counselors over the years. Dr. Burgess makes me feel heard and validated when I am overcome with self doubt. He takes detailed notes and helps remind me of past sessions so I can maintain my goals over time. He is the reason I have recommended this app to coworkers and friends.
Dr. Burgess is a very good active listener. He has helped me for almost a month with my mental health issues, (anxiety and trauma). I like his style and approach, which prompts me to stay on a specific path and helps me stay focused on my therapy goals.
Dr. Burgess is a very active listener that knows how to provide a safe environment for me to express myself and help gently guide me to release emotions I often hold back. I appreciate his style of working and genuine care and concern.
