About me

Hello, my name is Brian Squitieri and I am a licensed mental health counselor with a dual master’s degree in vocational rehabilitation and mental health counseling. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and social sciences. I have over eight years of experience in mental health, and I have worked with individuals and families with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflicts, anger management, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions such as career changes.

My philosophy is that I work together with my clients to individualize therapy. For me, the most important part of being a therapist is that I really listen to what my clients are saying and I am with them in the moment. My goal is to aid my clients in developing insight, effective coping skills, communication skills, and to control problematic feelings or behaviors. If you are ready to begin your journey, then we can work together to improve your well-being and quality of life.

Brian has taken his time during our sessions and shown interest in the things I discuss. He’s offered tools and advice which I have found very helpful. He has this relaxed air to him which makes it easier to open up.
