I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and a doctoral graduate from the University of the Cumberlands (Ph.D. in Leadership and Counselor Education and Supervision). I have been counseling using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, walk/talk therapy, and solution-focused counseling since 2015 working with a variety of issues ranging from anxiety to depression. My primary counseling focus is on brain-based interventions and understanding the biological reasons behind our mental health concerns. I enjoy helping clients with career changes by using motivational interviewing techniques and providing coaching style interventions for work-related growth. I provide focused interventions that help you accomplish the goals that are most important to your mental health. It takes courage to seek out counseling and I intend to support you with the best resources available. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
