About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 12 years experience in mental health counseling in various settings. I have worked in the private practice, outpatient offices, and hospital settings. My areas of focus include stress management, anxiety, depression, coparenting, divorce and custody, grief and loss, and eating disorders.

I am Certified in Perinatal Loss Care and have specialized in pregnancy and infant loss for more than 12 years. I also focus on pregnancy and postpartum anxiety and depression.

In 2010, I founded ‭‭Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness of Washington County, MD, an organization that hosts events and provides support to individuals and families coping with pregnancy and infant loss.‬‬

‭‭My therapy style and approach are client-centered. I will work with you to help you set and meet your goals. My priority is to meet you where you are to provide support to empower you.‬‬

I provide individual counseling through messaging and live chat sessions. I do not provide phone or video sessions.

I always look forward to my sessions with Brianne! I often go in not totally confident on what I want to talk about, but she asks great guiding questions that unlock some thoughts that lead to great conversation. She has been there for me through some hard times and I feel like I can completely trust her. Being able to message throughout the week is also extremely helpful. I highly recommend Brianne!

While I did not get a chance to work with Brianne long, I really enjoyed my time with her. I sought out therapy to help me build overall confidence, offer me more help in regards to my anxiety, and find support for stress during my husband and my conception struggles. She provided me on our second session some worksheets and books on reframing my thoughts during challenging times where my anxiety flares. She also helped me develop life style additions and adjustments to help my body and mind maintain a calmer state for longer. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately I have to cancel my therapy. I really appreciate Brianne . For helping me the last couple of weeks. She’s genuine person, therapist. Made me feel comfortable. Brianne is very helpful and comforting. She listens and offers advice. She responds pretty quickly and is very respectful. I feel comfortable telling her pretty much anything about my life. She has helped with giving me resources as well.

Brianne is a good counselor. She is there as a good listener to let you vent and to be able to better process your emotions or difficulties. I feel good after speaking to her, I feel heard and understood. I feel safe. I feel a great weight lifted off of my shoulders.
