About Me

With my twenty years of experience in grief and loss as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Art Therapist in California, let me help you navigate these painful and difficult times of transition. Utilizing both talk and art therapy, we can work together to identify and help manage the complexities of your grief emotions and work towards feelings of peace and healing. Grief can often feel like an overwhelming and lonely road, but it need not be so. I can offer support in spousal, parent and child loss, as well as loss due to suicide or miscarriage. Loss can radiate out into the work and family life, impacting our relationships with our spouse, children, co-workers and friends. Grief can often highlight issues that were present in the family for years and never dealt with. It can lead to feelings of anger, frustration, despair, inertia, and isolation. However, in our darkest places, it is the discomfort that motivates our change and growth in finding our new normal. I have experience with both acute and traumatic grief and with all ages from children through adulthood. Utilizing a person centered and non-judgmental approach, we will explore the myriad of emotions grief can bring.
