About Me

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. I have 4 years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I recently moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania because the mountains called, and I believe in creating a life worth living. In Pennsylvania I worked for an outpatient center in Pennsylvania where I was therapist for their partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, and started 2 outpatient groups. I worked primarily with adolescent & young adults but also with adults of all ages. I have the most experience serving: persons experiencing difficulties functioning, school avoidance, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, LGBTQ+, family conflict/dysfunction, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, impulsive behaviors, grief, and relationship issues. I also have some background working with persons who are coping with: learning disorders, and/or ADHD/ADD.

I use a person-centered and holistic approach to therapy. I believe that each person is capable of growth, self-love, and healing. It is my goal to work with you and help you take ownership of your treatment. I do believe that mental health education is key, and I love to help my client learn how to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to improve their skills, learn about themselves, and create the life that you deserve. I have training and experience in mindfulness as well. Cultural competency is particularly important to me and I value on-going cultural education.

I look forward to working with you!

Bridget has been my ideal counselor. She is kind, empathetic, understanding, and helpful. I’ve felt an improvement in my life and am so grateful to have her as my therapist. She makes me feel heard and I wish I could keep a tiny Bridget on my shoulder at all times to guide me. I never feel judged or talked down to by her. She’s extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, and I appreciate the positive impact she’s made on my life so far!

I felt extremely comfortable with Bridget right away. I can tell that she really listens to everything I say and is very attentive to even the smallest details. I always feel relieved, uplifted and reassured after every session. She is also awesome at following up with me when I send her messages in between sessions.

Bridget has more than heard me out with everything and has shown me why my methodology is right. She has also given me constructive feedback back on how to promote change and better behavior in my life. I am so glad I took the next step in getting help for the things I have been and continue to go through.
