About me
Hello! My name is Dr. Brindi Streufert, and I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in the states of Nebraska, Tennessee, and Arkansas. I earned my Master of Arts (MA) and Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship in Primary Care Psychology at Access Community Health Centers in Madison, Wisconsin. I have been practicing integrated behavioral healthcare, using the Primary Care Behavioral Health Model since 2013. I am credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
My strengths-based treatment approach utilizes compassionate Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution-Focused, Emotion-Focused, Values-Based, and Mindfulness interventions to provide individualized, practical strategies you can take home and start using today. I have many years of experience working with patients to better manage a range of health and mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, making healthy lifestyle changes, managing diabetes, headaches, insomnia, nightmares, gastrointestinal distress, chronic pain, and mind-body disorders.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, canning, reading, spending time outdoors, and being with my family. I look forward to coming alongside and supporting you on your pursuit of health and wellness!
