About Me

Hello, my name is Britni Shrader and I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner. I obtained my Masters of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have treated several different mental health issues and stressors, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, anger issues and career counseling, and I've worked with teens, adults, couples and families. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered and solution-focused counseling techniques. I am also trained in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT_E). The feedback I've gotten from clients over time is that I am direct, non-judgmental, authentic and focus on assisting clients to reframe perceptions or thinking styles that may be leading to distressing symptoms and/or dysfunctional relationships. I consider my self to be empathetic, validating, and non-judgmental, and I do work hard to help clients be self-efficient, motivated and hold themselves accountable. Ms. Shrader has been very beneficial throughout my process of self-improvement. She holds me accountable and pushes me to try to better myself, even when I don’t feel up to it. I am extremely grateful for her help.

She has been very prompt about getting back to me and has been very on top of scheduling and emailing me it helps so much to feel like I have someone to turn to and don’t have to wait a week to talk to my counselor. After being in therapy for years this is the best I have ever had so far it’s so much more effective for me
