About me

Hello!

My name is Brittany and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist- Associate (LCAS-A) in North Carolina with over 3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Whether you're here to seek support, answers, vent, or you're not sure, I am here to support you on your journey! I have worked with clients in various settings, with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, substance use, self-esteem, stress, trauma and adjustment issues.

My approach with clients is personalized, emotion-focused, and relational. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you can learn to explore all parts of yourself including: shame, anger, fear, joy, sexuality and identity. I integrate compassion, empathy and a little humor to provide exceptional and effective treatment to help you thrive. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and trauma-informed counseling. Through the use of my approach and your expertise, together we will create a treatment plan based on your unique needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you to achieve your goals.

I look forward to working with you!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! She’s so intentional, kind, caring and respectful. It’s like talking to an old friend. Brittany has helped me make so much progress in my life and I will be forever thankful!

Brittany is amazing. She listens carefully and remembers to follow up on topics we last discussed. She is also so easy to talk to and open up to. She created a safe space for me to open up about a lot of hard things and always makes me feel supported and heard.

Brittany is wonderful. She's gotten me through a couple of crises, and I can't be more thankful. I feel heard and my feelings are validated. Thanks to her I am slowly getting back to my old self again. Can't say enough good things about her!

Loving my sessions with Brittany over the past few months. It’s so nice to have someone to talk to and listen to you and validate your concerns as well as help you through them. She’s amazing!
