Brittany Cruz, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Practitioner with 8+ years of experience working in the field of substance use and mental health. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, communication problems, boundary issues and conflict resolution.
I would describe my therapy style as positive, engaging and solution focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in judgments or negativity in the therapy process. My approach combines CBT, Solution focused, DBT, and Client centered therapy. However, I strive to cater the therapy process to the needs of my clients and I believe that treatment planning and therapy should be a collaborative effort.
Change can be scary and it takes a strong person to reach out and ask for help, but I firmly believe that therapy can be a great step towards positive self care. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you each step of the way.
I look forward to working with you!

Brittany Cruz has been so helpful lately. She is a great listener and I am confident that I am working towards good goals. I would say I am very grateful that I have started therapy again.
