About me

Welcome!

I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Clinician (BC-TMH) with almost a decade of professional experience. I have degrees in psychology and social work and certification in drug and addiction studies. I serve adolescents, adults, and families dealing with pervasive mental, emotional and behavioral health needs as well as substance related needs. I provide care in community mental health, acute psychiatric settings as well as state based services including work with juvenile offenders. I provide therapeutic services to a wide range of clientele on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, parenting skills, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders.

I believe in a person-centered approach and meeting you where you are. I provide a non-judgmental, patient, supportive, and mutually respectful environment where you are able to practice self-expression. Through the use of rapport building, empathy, and our ongoing engagement and alignment with one another, I am confident we can come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs and is designed to help you meet your goals. I want to help you dig beyond what may be coming up on the surface, build on your skills to deal with the root of the problem, and equip you with the tools you need to maintain better mental and emotional health.

You’ve made it this far, so go ahead and pat yourself on the back! My “door” is open and I welcome you to allow me to take those next steps with you! Shall we?

I have formal training in the following additional models and evidenced based practices (EBPs):
Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA is a substance use model)
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA is primarily used to treat people with autism spectrum disorders)
Community Advocacy Project (CAP is a domestic violence model)
Contingency Management (a substance use model)
Intercept (a trauma informed family therapy)
Motivational Interviewing
Multi-systemic Therapy (MST is a family therapy for delinquent juveniles)

She is very good at her job. I only text message her (my choice) but she is very helpful to me. She is very encouraging and kind. I can tell she youthful in her approach too which is helpful since I am young as well.

Brittany is the best. I can confide in her without ever feeling judged. She has the greatest advice and I know she has my mental health in her best interest. I’m not at my destination yet but she’s guided me through my journey much farther where I would’ve been at a standstill for much longer.
