About me
Hi! My name is Brittney! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor and EMDR Trained in Las Vegas, NV. Living in Vegas, I have had the privilege of being exposed to diverse populations along with alternative lifestyles. I have experience with working in a non-profit setting for almost 8 years now and working with a diverse set of populations including adolescents, family, couples, individuals in the justice system/probation/federal and running groups around mental health issues and substance abuse.
My training and education have provided me with various therapeutic techniques and methodologies. I am a major advocate for self-love, self-acceptance and emotional well-being in both my personal and professional lives. Because of this, I use a strength based and client driven approach in therapy. Its very important to me to offer a safe and comfortable space for all of my clients. I enjoy incorporating Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my work with those looking for support in trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, alternative lifestyles, self-love and conflict resolution. However, I believe that, even though I may be an expert in certain areas of therapeutic knowledge, I am not the expert of my client’s life. They are! Therefore, when I work with clients, I believe it is a collaborative journey and I will walk alongside them. I absolutely love seeing the positive outcomes in my client’s lives.
If we decide to do this journey together, this is what a you may expect from me. I provide a safe and nurturing space to help you become the best version of yourself. I am non-judgmental, compassionate, a good listener, a teacher, collaborator, and I always have your best interest in mind. I will be someone that roots for you, encourages you, occasionally may be humorous, and offers insight to view a situation differently than you have viewed it. To help you look through a situation with a new lens.
I would like to hear more of your story and unique experience so we can decide if it would be a good therapeutic fit. I look forward to chatting with you!

Brittney’s energy and kindness is contagious! I laugh, I cry and I learn so much about myself and others through my sessions with Brittney, all while feeling no judgement or shame in sharing my personal life. It really feels like talking to a close friend, a really advisable, affable friend. I strongly recommend Brittney to anyone looking for a great therapist but especially if you have any fears or hesitation with starting your therapy journey because you will leave each session feeling genuinely brave and proud of your commitment to yourself!

Brittney has been wonderful, she helped me through a rough period, a relapse, my grandfather's death and harmful self-talking. She helped me become more sure in making meaningful communication, with my family and my wife. She always listened to my concerns and usually was able to get me to solve my own problems by gently asking probing questions; leading the horse to water, as it were.
She is incredibly insightful and supportive, a confidant and a feelings wizard. In the short time that I've worked with Brittney, my worldview and perspective has been enormously enhanced and I look forward to the future I can build for myself with her guidance and wisdom
Brittney is an amazing therapist I have only had a few sessions with her but I feel great about our session so far.
