About me

Hello there! I'm a Kansas-based Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with over 14 years of experience. Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings such as with incarcerated and paroled sexual offenders, inpatient psychiatric treatment, outpatient group and individual treatment, private therapeutic practice, and emergent/crisis mental health assessment.

I enjoy working with a wide variety of clientele with varied needs. I believe it is important to maintain a variety of skillsets and therapeutic approaches so that I am able to adapt the approach to best meet your needs. If I were asked to pick a "go-to" approach I would say that I most often default to a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy most frequently. I find that solution-focused therapy often leaves the client well within the driver's seat and my role then becomes that of support and encouragement for the client to strive for their best outcome.

Whatever the needs may be, my goal is to offer you a collaborative, supportive, and safe space to address it at your pace. I really work to educate and empower you to bring your goals into your reality.
