About me
I am licensed in North Carolina with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
I have spent over 20yrs assisting teens in overcoming obstacles they might face, teaching positive coping skills, communication and behavior modification skills. Assisting them in transitioning from a teen to a young adult and developing independent living skills. I have also worked with couples helping them to process conflicts, improve communication and rebuild trust. Working with the LGBTQ+ community has been very rewarding. Being able to assist the members of the LGBTQ+ coping with the obstacles they face, increase their healthy coping skills and helping them reach their goals.
