I was so at peace with myself, how can can found that internal peace again?

I never taught I would be able to open up about this until I wrote this text and that’s already an achievement for me, please read it

My parents were divorced when I was 4 they both loved me even after the divorce but I feel it still affected me somehow, I left my country for a new life at the age of 17. Until that time I was so harmonious with myself, I would say I had a very good balance. I started having some anxiety at age of 21 especially because I got married and I was unhappy, now I'm 23 and I'm getting divorced.
I am a social person, with a huge heart for people, but because of that I'm starting to believe that I have to think about myself too, many disappointments...
I’m a very positive person and that’s what’s keeping me going, but when I'm alone in complete silence that’s when I know my energy is not balanced and that I'm not at peace and harmony with myself.
I have to say things are going better, but I still can’t find my peace and reassurance once for all.. especially because I never did therapy before, I only read books and watch videos to understand myself and keep going with positivity.
So if I receive a specific opinion or reading from a specialist over here that would help me a lot
Thank you in advance

Dear Mo, we share some similar experiences.

I sense a spiritual yearning in what you wrote... That you're searching for meaning in yourself and life.  Maybe still trying to find exactly how you fit in the World (with a capital "W").

You're likely undergoing a lot of stress from the divorce, perhaps a share of disappointment at things not turning out the way you had hoped, and maybe some isolation as far as not having anyone in your immediate circle with whom you feel you can fully open up about what's going on in your life right now.

I found your ongoing quest for what now seems a lost inner peace and harmony interesting. Perhaps a return to that former state of harmony is not even possible... Maybe part of it was founded in a more youthful, carefree state of mind, and what you're really looking for is a NEW inner balance.  Something that incorporates the challenges and growth you've gone through and are still coping with now?

Life is growth, and although change is often uncomfortable, the positive side of this is that once we get through it, we come to new plateaus in life... We see further (so to speak), and gain new perspectives on the World (not just on who we are, how we look at others, but on how we want to approach living in general).

Finally, I found your description of yourself as a social person very positive, and the idea that maybe it's time to focus more on yourself interesting. I would have to hear more about this to comment, but it sounds like an area worthy of investigation.

At any rate, you're clearly intelligent, insightful, and willing to work on yourself... In short, you have a lot going for you.
