What am I supposed to do at this point?

Basically I think I'm autistic for several reasons, my symptoms have always been ignored, my mental health is in an awful state, I was supposed to have a psychiatrist appointment irl like 2 months ago but my mom cancelled it last minute saying it was useless, My social anxiety is making me unable to consult on my own irl again.

Thank-you for reaching out to better help for assistance. I look forward to assisting you.

Sounds like you think you might be autistic but not getting the medical help you need.  Sounds like you feel like your mental health is not in a good place. I hate to hear this.  If you think you may have autism you really should see a medical doctor and get a good diagnosis.

I can provide you with some coping skills that may help you in the mean time until you can see a medical doctor. Some good coping skills would be to create a calm environment by removing distractions and clutter and loud noise.   Relaxation skills such as counting to 10, deep breathing in your nose and out your mouth are good relaxation skills that can help you cope better.  You can also consider using calming apps to help control anxiety. A good one is the app called CALM.

Social support is very important. If you could find an autism support group that would be a great support. Maybe look online and see what they have in your area.  Online groups such as Verywell Healths facebook group can assist with tips for autism and resources too.

Other relaxation skills are progressive muscle relaxation.  You can google this on youtube and download a 15 to 30 minute progressive muscle relaxation exercise and listen to it. Just lie down and it will help you relax from your head to your toes. It might also put you to sleep. You cannot be stressed and relaxed at the same time.

The 5 senses is another good relaxation skill. What are 4 things you see, what are 3 things you hear, what are 2 things you smell and what is 1 thing you can touch. This can put you in a calming moment.  You could do this anywhere and will calm you down.

I hope this was helpful and I wish you the very best. I look forward to hearing from you.
