Feel the void, make an attempt to do chores but find only temporary solution. Sometimes crying helps
Before we begin with what is wrong. Let's look at what is right in life. There are many ways to attack feelings of incomplete satisfaction and unhappiness. I would ask you to do a moment of reflection. You stated that you have low self-esteem. Has this always been the case and if not, when did it begin? I want you to think about what makes you great. There is greatness inside everyone. Some people just know how to let that greatness out and fulfill a purpose. If you have not found your purpose it's okay. It doesn't happen quickly for everyone. For those looking for purpose, you must first think of a direction. Where do you want to be in 5 years? Where do you see yourself? If you don't know then you may lack vision. A lack of vision can lead to feelings of low self-worth.
You are currently doing tasks and chores as a simple solution. This is a substitute. You are doing this to offset the reality that you are not fulfilled. Whatever you are currently doing is not working. You know you need to do something different but are unsure exactly as to what that is. This can also contribute to low self-esteem. One thing confident or persons with high self-esteem have in common is self-belief or a definitive mindset. That means a mind able to come up with plans and then put them into action. A person with high self-esteem is also one who is generally unafraid. Fear itself can stop you from greatness. The origin of your low self-esteem is something that must be identified so that it can be properly addressed. I don't know if it was family, friends, teachers, or yourself that have told you what you are not but you are what you say you are. Everyone around you has an opinion but only you can turn an opinion into an absolute.
When you decide to find a goal, make sure it is something that you have an interest in doing. The goal should be something that you actually want to do - which will help with consistency should it prove to be challenging. Look at your past experiences before choosing a goal. If it is a big goal look for some steps to take so that you can work towards it. Lastly, no matter what your goal is, get started. Until you actually begin, a goal is simply a dream or an idea that fills a void in your thought process from time to time.
