Best way to reduce overall stress/anxiety?

I tend to stress a lot, whether it's work or being around a lot of people (this is natural because of autism), and it does affect me negatively, such as triggering my epilepsy and hindering my darts throwing- I've played darts since I was about 9 and now I've got a thing called dartitis where I can't seem to throw it, and I need help with this to be ok at it again

I see that you are looking for the best ways to deal with stress related to anxiety. It appears that your stress has manifested from work and being around a lot of people which in turn can trigger your epilepsy to be exasperated. I would first recommend that you talk to your medical provider to discuss options regarding if and when it will be safe for you to get back to playing darts. While you are in the process of scheduling an appointment with your doctor, I recommend that you start looking for a counselor or therapist to support implementing appropriate ways to reduce or alleviate stress related to symptoms of anxiety. Stress reliever techniques can be broken down into various categories. There are short term techniques, fast acting techniques, long term techniques, and problem focused coping techniques. With having so many options, a professional counselor or therapist can be a huge support in helping you with stress management techniques that fit your needs at the time that you are seeking therapy. The best stress management techniques are an exhaustive list that I have included but are not limited to some of the following helpful techniques to reduce stress: meditating, practicing progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing, journaling, singing, going for a walk, visiting a park, socializing with friends and family, laughing, being assertive, trying aromatherapy, trying cinematherapy, listening to music, painting, drawing, coloring, being present in the moment, exercising, doing yoga, eating a healthy and balanced diet, making time for leisure activities, getting a pet, developing a positive self-talk habit, reevaluate your to do list, etc. Overall, I highly recommend that you find a counselor or therapist that can assist you with discussing the most effective stress management techniques to reduce or alleviate your stress related to anxiety. Everyone deals with stress at some point in their lives. However, stress is not a one size fits all issue. Stress and anxiety can arise for various reasons and are individual to each person, so stress relievers are beneficial in effectively getting your mind away from your source of stress. Subsequently, having a counselor or therapist can be a helpful tool where you can openly discuss appropriate stress management techniques that would be beneficial in meeting your specific medical, physical, social, and or financial needs. Best Wishes!
