Welcome and thank you for your interest in exploring whether I may be a helpful fit in assisting you with struggles and challenges you are experiencing.
Life sometimes bring experiences of depression, anxiety, loss/grief, relationship challenges, and other personal or professional stress that may cause one to feel ‘stuck’ or ‘cemented’.
We have the ability to be resilient, meaning the capacity to overcome, recover, adapt, bounce back, and move forward stronger from difficult experiences. My goal is to help individuals embrace their authentic self by tapping into their own wisdom, strengths, and experiences to promote and nurture continuous self-growth and balance.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I utilize Person-Centered, and Trauma Resilient approaches emphasizing the importance of the relationship in providing support, empathy, and trust to facilitate insight, self-awareness, and the ability to express emotions without judgment. I enjoy listening and learning about an individual’s background, life experiences, culture, and future aspirations and goals. In addition, integrating Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral strategies promotes patterns of helpful thinking, behavior, and coping that lead to resilience.
My professional experience includes over 20 years in education, hospitals, children and family services with abuse/neglect, and providing individual therapy in a private practice setting.
Thank you for considering working together and I welcome the opportunity to journey with you.
