About me
Hello! My name is Caitlin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with clients affected by depression, mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, trauma, difficult life transitions and relationship issues. I have extensive experience working with specialty populations to include Veterans, first responders and justice-involved individuals . I also have experience working with adolescents, young adults and families. I am also the mother of two wonderful kids. My journey into motherhood has further developed my passion for supporting women during pregnancy, and as they navigate postpartum challenges. When working with clients I strive to make the therapy experience positive, respectful, and safe. I believe you are the expert of your story and have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming life’s challenges. My approach is solution focused, client centered, and strengths based drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory.
Originally from Vermont, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Providence College and my Masters degree in Social Work from Boston College. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy playing with my kids, gardening, house projects and exploring new places.
