Hello, I am licensed professional clinical counselor in California and Maryland. I believe the most important aspect to the therapeutic process is to establish and maintain a strong rapport with my clients. I promise to provide a non-judgmental space for you and help you feel as comfortable as you can in my presence. It’s important that you trust me and I believe my genuineness, empathetic style and unconditional positive regard will help facilitate a healthy working relationship. One of my goals in each session is for you to be heard. I want you to lead our sessions and openly express the concerns you are currently experiencing. I also take on a holistic approach to therapy and am interested in all aspects of your life. I think having a solid understanding of your past, present and future life events will help us understand your current emotional state.
I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance and alcohol abuse and relationship issues. I am confident my client-focused approach and therapeutic techniques will help you find new meaning in your life, lead you to self-actualization and help you reach your greatest potential. I look forward to starting a new therapeutic journey with you.

I was at a very tough place when I signed up for BetterHelp. I had been matched to a few other therapists, but I couldn’t quite connect with them. I’m glad I was patient!
Caitlin has been wonderful since the beginning. After each session I have a better understanding of what I am feeling and I feel empowered to go on and tackle challenges I may be facing. For example, understanding my relationships with the people closest to me, to navigating a career change. Each session helps me grow a little and I look forward to my weekly sessions with Caitlin. Seeking help has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever taken and I strongly recommend Caitlin.
