Caitlin Gable

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in individual and group settings. I have worked in a private practice outpatient therapy setting, in addition to various case management positions. I am skilled working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders and significant issues functioning in the community/family structure. I am also skilled in working with the unique circumstances that Veterans and their families experience.

I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic bond is essential for facilitating effective counseling and obtaining positive outcomes in treatment. My counseling style is warm and supportive, with a compassion-focused perspective. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone else and I would be happy to work with you to identify areas for growth and change to help you reach your goals. My approach also combines strength-based, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused modalities.

It takes great strength to take the first step towards making a change. I would be happy to work with you through that process and I look forward to talking with you!

Caitlin really helped me figure out destructive patterns I had going on in my life. She helped me understand the cycle I was in, helped me identify when I was falling into the same patterns, and how I could get myself back on track with what I really want for my life.

Caitlin is the best counselor I've ever had.
