About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Pennsylvania and Kansas. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in individual and group settings. I have worked in a private practice outpatient therapy setting, in addition to various case management positions. I am skilled working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders and significant issues functioning in the community/family structure. I am also skilled in working with the unique circumstances that Veterans and their families experience.

I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic bond is essential for facilitating effective counseling and obtaining positive outcomes in treatment. My counseling style is warm and supportive, with a compassion-focused perspective. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone else and I would be happy to work with you to identify areas for growth and change to help you reach your goals. My approach also combines strength-based, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused modalities.

It takes great strength to take the first step towards making a change. I would be happy to work with you through that process and I look forward to talking with you!

Caitlin is so great with listening and helping guide my own anxiety management. She remembers even the specifics of what we talk about week to week so there’s never any time wasted during a session. She is excellent.

Caitlin really helped me figure out destructive patterns I had going on in my life. She helped me understand the cycle I was in, helped me identify when I was falling into the same patterns, and how I could get myself back on track with what I really want for my life.
