About Me

Counseling is best when it's personalized. There is no such things as a "one-size-fits-all" method to therapy. I have found that many of us have a combination of trauma and maladaptive behaviors that once explored and processed can dramatically improve the quality of life. I implement four cornerstone treatment approaches: EMDR, Mindful Movement, DBT(Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and expressive arts to calm the nervous system, resolve trauma and incorporate new behaviors.
I serve dynamic populations. I have worked in behavioral health hospitals, residential treatment centers and in managed care settings. In each of these experiences I have had the great opportunity to assist emotionally dysregulated individuals and facilitate the restoration of resilience and balance.

Callie is an intelligent, down to earth therapist with a sharp memories and many tools. She takes the time to listen, address your concerns thoroughly, and follow up. From all experience with multiple issues with other therapists, she is the best counselor I have seen. I highly recommend her.

Callie is a wonderful, thoughtful counselor and I've really enjoyed working with her. I initially came to Callie 5 days after the passing of my younger brother, to help with my grief. Since then we have worked on my grief, parenting, relationship issues and long unaddressed trauma.
