Hello! Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I earned my Bachelors of Art in Psychology at Texas State University and Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am married (to a counselor!) with a little girl and a baby boy. I love traveling the globe and have been on 4 studies abroad. I also enjoy movies and music of all sorts.
My experience is heavily rooted in acute psychiatric settings working inpatient, intensive outpatient, and forensic counseling. While I learned a lot and am thankful for the experience, I know that I enjoy helping people in the longer journey of overall stability which is why I primarily see clients in a private practice setting in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. I also have a passion for helping those who are grieving as we all lose people in our lives and it is certainly a process to adjust to a life without those people close to us after their death.
Regarding therapy, I usually employ a Solution-Focused and Narrative approach meaning you are the expert on your life and, together, we explore moments when the problem(s) were less or not even around, what made that possible, and how we might achieve that in this current moment or in the near future. Problems aren't born in a vacuum so I also look to see who else in one's life might have significance in reducing the issues we face. I appreciate your considering me as your therapist and look forward to working together if you choose me! Take care.
- Stress, Anxiety
I also have experience in Addictions, LGBT, Relationship, Family, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Intimacy-related, Eating, Anger, Self esteem, Bipolar

Cameron has helped me gain coping skills in a way I never thought I would. Going into online therapy, I thought I knew everything, but despite slip ups I have grown leaps and bounds. Thanks, Cameron!
Cameron feels like an old friend that has that open platform to open up. He’s not afraid to speak what is necessary yet does so in such a way where it is not harsh.
Cameron is respectful and responsive. He sticks with me and doesn’t give up on me. He helps me see things from a different perspective. I’ve already come to see him as a trusted friend.
I trust and respect Cameron. I’ve been very happy with my experience.
I think Cameron's look on counselor is refreshing. Instead of focusing on the negative things that happens in our life and reviewing how it made us feel and so forth, he makes us look at the positive things in our lives and how we can bring more of it. He also gives you other tools to experience new aspects of something that you never thought could be looked at differently. He's really down to earth; like an old friendly friend.
I have been talking to Cameron for coming up on a month now, and I absolutely love him! He's very understanding and easy to work with. I'm so glad that I got him as my counselor, he really takes the time to understand and help me with everything I am going through. You're the best! Thanks!
Cameron is a great counselor, very approachable and relatable. He responds quickly and thoroughly to messages, is goal-oriented and very helpful in reaching those goals!
I have been dealing with depression for many years and did not want to seek help for it due to concern of what they would say or do. It continued to get worse over the years and I got to a point that I knew I needed to seek help. I found BetterHelp and was matched with Cameron Schober. I have never opened up to anyone and told them what I have told him. He makes me feel safe that I can trust him and that he will not judge me, which was a big concern of mine.I still have away's to go, but glad I have Cameron to help me through this.
