Camille Brockett, LCSW
About me
Welcome! You have taken the first step to making changes in your life and for that I applaud you!
My name is Camille and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of North Carolina, Louisiana and Mississippi. I earned my Masters in Social Work and Public Health from Tulane University. I have spent my career working with people dealing with some of the hardest issues in life, especially traumatic illness, death of a loved one, and self esteem issues. Now I work with individuals who feel stuck in their lives, careers or relationships and are looking to move forward.
My counseling style is non-judgmental, empathetic and direct. My goal is to help you feel understood, validated and respected. You are the expert of your own life and I admire that about you. I believe you have the ability to succeed but we sometimes need someone to ask good questions along the way. Together we can identify and work towards your goals. I like to make sure you have a plan and tools to make positive changes in your life as soon as you are ready. If you are ready to get to work, I am here for you!

She’s an amazing person. I appreciate her for empowering me and understanding how I feel. I don’t feel judged and I feel in a sense “normal”.

It’s still very early, so this won’t be too meaningful. I have tried online therapy before with no luck. The person on the other end sounded like a bot at times or maybe someone who had canned answers she cut and pasted into replies. I don’t get that at all from Camille. It’s so refreshing.

Camille is very good listener. She is nonjudgmental and always checks up on you if you don’t respond for a while, making sure you're okay and that she’s always here if you want to talk.
