About me
Welcome! My name is Candace, and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. First of all, I want to acknowledge you for being willing to seek help. Whatever it is that you are going through is important. In my therapy sessions, I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate space. I've been a school counselor before and a teacher. I understand what it is to have a family, and I am passionate about helping individuals connect with their authentic self so that they show up in their life in a free and exciting way. I use CBT and DBT to help clients challenge their thoughts and reframe them so they can be free. I have worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, codependency issues, social anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, PTSD, and relationship issues. I love helping couples.
I am gentle, honest, and direct. I am personable and enjoy building relationships with clients. I see my client as the expert in their life and want to support them as they encounter their strengths in that discovery.
I look forward to supporting you in your journey!

Candace is so kind, honest and attentive. I've had a lot of trauma and I'm very sensitive, so I'm thankful to have found someone who can listen and give me the space to feel all the difficult feelings I'm used to suppressing. I'm learning to care for myself in all the ways I've never been cared for with her help.

Candace is a great listener! And I think she has cultivated the balance of knowing when to listen and knowing when to talk. I feel heard by her, and like I’m making progress.

Candace is AMAZING. I think there's a lot to be said about her so I'll try to keep it brief. Attentive, intelligent, endlessly kind, works with me to figure out different strategies. Even virtually she provides a safe space. Extremely grateful.
