About me
Hello. I’m a graduate of Indiana University. I started my career as a high school teacher and went on to become an award-winning school counselor. Now, I'm a licensed mental health counselor treating young adults, adults and families through my private mental health practice.
I have worked with families for 17 years. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and trauma. I treat mental health problems such as overwhelming sadness, risk-taking behaviors, intense fears, mood swings, substance use, difficulty concentrating, self-harm, occupational struggles, panic attacks, anger outbursts and much more.
My counseling philosophy has roots in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I implement trauma-informed care. Additionally, I believe in a developmental approach to counseling, which means I believe that you are a different person today than you will be tomorrow. We can work together to achieve the change that you desire.
