About me

Kate Braestrup says it best: "I'm not here to keep you from freaking out. I'm here to be with you while you freak out, or grieve or laugh or suffer or sing. It is a ministry of presence. It is showing up with a loving heart." I truly believe that everyone could benefit from psychotherapy at some point in their lives -- we all need support. Taking the step towards seeking help of any kind can sometimes be difficult. I consider it a privilege to be chosen to walk out life's challenges with you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with 9 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping adolescent, adult clients with couples, and families with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence, life transitions, and high functioning professionals. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

This was my first time trying therapy but Caresse made me feel comfortable from day 1! She is super sweet and nice. She listens before she speaks. In just a short time she has helped me out a lot!

She has changed my life!
Caresse was always respectful and excited to see me and talk to me every time we had a session and also encouraged me to change my perspective about a lot of stuff that I was suffering from for years and they've been solved now!
I'd rate her 100/5
Thank you so much Caresse.

I didn't know what to expect going into therapy much less talking to a stranger about my problems, but Caresse has been the absolute best person to talk with. She made me feel at ease, seen, and heard throughout our sessions. Within a week of our first session, my entire mindset was changed, I became less stressed and more optimistic about my future, hopes, and dreams. I cannot praise Caresse enough for being a genuine human and helping me out to the fullest of her abilities.
