About me

I help people who struggle with anxiety, stress, and relationship issues identify their goals and reduce symptoms to create a life they love . I utilize traditional counseling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies, as well as Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness Skills.

I employ a strategy that balances the candidness of a coach with the support of a nurturing cheerleader. I'm an intuitive, creative, outside of the box thinker who uses an integrative and strength based approach to help you understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviors in new ways. I've been working in social services in the Louisville area for 20 years earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Education in Community Counseling degrees from the University of Louisville. I have worked in a variety of settings including in home supports, community based services, residential programs, and psychiatric hospitals prior to moving into private practice in 2016.
