I am Carmon Mays, a solution focused, clinical social worker who seeks to help my clients restore balance within themselves and their environment. Establishing realistic goals helps to pave the journey we take together between client and therapist. It is inevitable for life to provide some type of challenge and I am here to help my clients navigate their struggles utilizing a variety of coping skills developed during our sessions.
I am a solution focused therapist that believes in establishing strong boundaries which empowers clients to live to their best potential. I provide a warm and compassionate environment to promote a space for healing and individual growth. I believe that active listening, empathy and validation in a solution focused session provides a positive foundation for effective change.

I’ve only had one session with Carmon but so far so good. I appreciate that she is an active listener and doesn’t stay silent as I speak with her.
