About me

I'm glad you decided to reach out for counseling support. My name is Carol Daniel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alabama with a Masters Degree in Community Counseling. I have been a counselor for the past 19 years. I have worked with adults ranging in age from 18 to 80 years old with various issues such as depression, anxiety, caregiver fatigue, PTSD, addiction and adjustment disorders, etc.

My counseling approach begins with the therapeutic relationship. I will provide a non-judgmental safe environment in which to discuss your concerns. I like to look at dysfunctional thinking patterns which could lead to destructive behaviors through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Mindfulness is a great way to direct your focus to the present moment which helps with depression, anxiety, stress management and addictions. Motivational interviewing will help to challenge current behaviors by exploring and resolving ambivalence towards reaching your goals. My counseling approach is integrative depending on what will be of benefit to you.

“There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking.” – Brian Tracy

I look forward to working with you!
