Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Carol Ptacek. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I really like Carol. She's patient with me as my brain sort of stumbles it's way through sessions. She's been kind and understanding, and I've appreciated her gentle direction in our sessions. She's like talking to a wise friend (yes, I know she is my therapist). She understands that my brain works differently. I have autism and ADHD. She takes a patient approach, but is still able to redirect when my brain tries to bunny trail off into the sunset. I appreciate the gentle prodding when needed, the helpful detangling of thoughts that I can't seem to find the thread to, and her positive, warm disposition. I highly recommend her.
Carol is a great therapist. I would recommend her to any of my friends.
Carol is absolutely wonderful! From the first moment we started talking, I felt heard, understood and validated. She has a way of listening and providing feedback that feels gentle and reassuring. I have been looking for years for the right therapist fit and I was elated to find that with Carol. I would highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for an experienced therapist that truly cares and listens. Thank you so much!
Carol,
Has become one of my allies and an important person to help me through this separation and divorce. Now, we will be getting ride of the trauma from it, and hopefully be able to live a happy and fulfilling life. Thank you Carol.
Carol has been absolutely amazing to work with. I have had multiple people tell me how much happier and more assure of myself I have become. I diffidently agree with them. I owe it all to Carol. She is great about listening to what I have to say and making me understand why I think and feel the way I do. She pushes me to be better and do better in a way that I feel comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Carol for everything!!
Carol has a unique ability to listen, relate, and most importantly challenge your thought process and strive for a better you. Carol has allowed me to view things from a different perspective. Her age and wisdom cannot be taught and the calm approach to what seems to be the absolute worst things in life have helped me improve as a person.
Great listener. Asked relevant questions and was sensitive to childhood trauma issues. Assigned worksheets and suggested relevant additional coping mechanisms to adapt to real life environment.
