When life gets complicated, I am here to help you figure things out. Hello, I’m Carol Thoma-Perry, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice since 2004. I have a strong belief in the resilience of people and would like to work with you to accomplish your goals and improve the quality of your life. My therapy style is caring, listening, and structuring treatment to fit your individual needs. I will be able to provide encouragement, affirmation, and keep you motivated even through difficult times.
Therapy is most effective when a client is motivated by desire for understanding, growth and change. Pursuing your goals, guided by a therapist can provide an opportunity for emotional healing and life satisfaction.
My commitment as a therapist is to meet you where you are and guide you to where you want to be by demonstrating understanding, acceptance and unconditional positive regard. When our journey concludes, your journey will move forward with the tools and confidence you need for continued growth and health. Thank you for reaching out. These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Carol Thoma-Perry. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Carol is a wonderful therapist. She’s a good listener and asks helpful questions. I would recommend her to anyone.
I absolutely adore Carol. I trust her endlessly and appreciate all of her advice and her therapy approach. She’s kind and very funny and makes meeting something to look forward to each week.
Carol has been great and offers many relevant and helpful suggestions starting even with the first session.
I really appreciate all her insight and compassion.
Carol ... a blessing Calm and offers sage advice.. and follows up
Carol is helpful, kind, and a great listener. I never expected my sessions with her to be one of the highlights of my week, but they definitely are! She uses problem solving & logic to help me work through my problems which I really find beneficial.
Carol is so kind and understanding (and she has a great sense of humor!) she helped me work through a very difficult period of my life and helped me deal with some issues I have been carrying with me for a long time. I am so grateful for her help and what she has helped me accomplish.
We have only had two sessions so I'm not sure that I really know enough about her yet to fully give a good review. But so far, I really like her style and she is a good listener and has good input/advice
She has been great.
Carol has been very kind and gives me support when I feel I have none. Makes me think outside of my comfort zone to see what I dont want to acknowledge. Also helps me to see what I already see and know I am not the only one that feels helpless and low at times
Carol is extremely thoughtful and friendly. she is easy to talk to and listens to you without judgment. She is also funny and creates a meaningful experience. She is wonderful!
Carol is comforting and experienced. I’m so glad to have her help me the ways I need most.
She is a wonderful counselor and I’m glad I started this journey matched with her.
I really like how she is patient with me. I’m a terrible speller and horrible with grammar but it is not an issue. She answers me in a timely manner and I really like how I can take time in the evening or morning to respond and I have time to decompress and really think about things.
