I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio with over 10 years of experience. I have my Master's degree in Social Work, and I have worked with people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, co-dependency, personality disorders and medical issues. I have experience working with people who are going through a mental health crisis, chronic illnesses, substance abuse and life changes.
My therapy style is warm, interactive and non-judgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. Everyone is unique, and I will focus on meeting you where you are at so we can work together to help you reach your goals for treatment. I hope to help you explore your values and to learn new skills so that you can live a life that provides meaning and purpose. I believe that with therapy, life's challenges can provide us with the opportunity to grow and to learn a more effective way to live.
I believe there is therapeutic value in humor and finding gratitude in the small things. I know that everyone has hidden strengths that are meant to be discovered and acknowledged. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
