About me
There are solutions to the problems we face in life and I am here to partner with you to find those solutions. The therapeutic relationship should be collaborative and empowering. Individuals, couples, and families can overcome challenges and manage the most difficult of transitions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been practicing for 13 years, working with individuals, couples, families, and children. My specialties include sexual abuse, childhood trauma, marriage crisis, relational problems, life transitions, infants and children, trauma treatment, crisis intervention, grief and loss, blended families, adoption and foster care, and parenting issues.
I am skilled in using a wide range of interventions including play therapy, family systems therapy, trauma treatment, parenting classes. I also work in the areas of divorce and child custody as a facilitator in Family Group Decision Making Meetings, Child Specialist, and Clinical Visitation Monitor.
I am certified in evidence based trauma treatments of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy.
