About me

I am licensed in Tennessee and Oregon with 15 years of professional work experience and have worked in a variety of settings with all different populations. I have experience in helping clients with depression, stress and anxiety, lgbt-related issues, and am a certified ADHD specialist. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I view therapy as a collaborative approach between therapist and client and will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I tend to use a lot of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in my practice but from other modalities that might be helpful for you. After decades of trying to find a therapist that I felt comfortable with, I was connected with carrie and am so grateful that better help picked her for me. I had lost confidence and hope that I was going to find someone to help, but now understand that it really is just finding the right person.

Carrie is a great listener and provided a lot of super helpful tools. She guided me through my challenges in an open and nonjudgmental way that was much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend!
