Carter Fisher-Jump, Psychologist
About me
Hello,
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Michigan with 9 years of experience working as a therapist. I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy services, specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, and Veteran-related issues. I also have experience with anger management, life adjustment difficulties, and relationship problems. I have extensive training in several traditional CBT therapies as well as mindfulness-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Additionally, I work for a VA clinic providing individual and group therapy to Veterans.
I believe that adversity is an inherent part of life and the key to recovery lies in acceptance of our emotional pain and creating a path to move forward guided by our deepest values. What I have found over the years is that life isn't meant to be easy; it's meant to be lived.
It takes courage to work towards meaningful change and I would be honored to help support and empower you to do so!
