About me

“At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want” Lao Tzu

Power comes from being open to exploring your inner strength as a means of gaining insight and knowledge to your authentic self. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, compassionate space for self-discovery. Through the Empowerment Model I use an eclectic, client centered, and strength based approach to finding healing and growth in the midst of challenges. By exploring the origin of symptoms and how they influence thoughts and behaviors we can overcome obstacles to feeling genuine health and wellness.
While seeking therapy can be a difficult process, I am committed to working collaboratively in order to reach your goals, reduce symptoms and change undesired behavior patterns. I have extensive experience supporting the trans and gender expansive community. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, Mood Disorders, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My mission is to work with my clients to create more of the life they want for themselves.
I work to foster self-awareness, effective problem solving, and the development of positive coping strategies. I concentrate on solutions for present issues with insight into how past events, upbringing and relationships may still be influencing current thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
