About me

My name is Cassandra (Cassie) Good and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in PA. I have a wide range of clinical experience with various populations, and really enjoy working with people and helping them identify and reach their individual goals. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in counseling from East Stroudsburg University, and proceeded to earn my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Holy Family University in 2013. My previous experience includes providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults who were victims of violence and trauma, specifically sexual assault and abuse. I've also worked in the public school setting providing additional support to students with Autism and other developmental disabilities to help them succeed and manage problematic behaviors in a more healthy, appropriate way. I have provided group therapy and case management services to adults with severe mental illness and/or substance use issues. I have a lot of experience working with troubled youth who have committed crimes including sexual offenses against others, providing individual and group therapy. I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and heavily utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in general in my work, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I greatly look forward to talking with you more and helping to guide you through your own journey of self-exploration and empowerment!
