About Me

Welcome to my page! I look forward to meeting you and working with you.

I have 17 years working in the therapy field in outpatient counseling, residential for teens and also for substance use and I have a private practice, as well. I was always meant to be a counselor as people always told me their problems and felt that I was a good listener, non-judgmental and understanding. I studied counseling psychology and have never regretted it! I specialize in attachment-oriented counseling which helps people get their deepest and basic needs met in their relationships with family, friends and at work. I have experience with addiction, grief, anger management, finding oneself, domestic violence, depression and anxiety as well as many other things. I also studied Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell which are considered the founders of depth psychology which deals with our unconscious and how it manifests in our lives.

I have been told I have a comforting presence and voice that puts people at ease. I feel that is my gift that I am not always aware of. I also have the heart of a therapist which means that I am empathic and truly care about helping others.

I de-stress with animals and nature as well as visiting with family and friends.
