About me
Feeling alone, broken and misunderstood? Want to repair, rebuild and improve relationships? Your success and personal growth is in reach. Through collaborative therapeutic conversations, I strive to understand how each individual make meaning of their life story and world view. I encourage self-exploration to guide you toward greater self-awareness, self-esteem, confidence and independence. My respectful curiosity and great sense of humor help clients to relax and embrace the therapeutic process. Although I encourage clients to take responsibility for their success in therapy, I believe the power of the therapeutic relationship will foster an inevitable transformation.
I am trained in post-modern approaches but also utilize other theories to individualize treatment. My experience includes working with a diverse population struggling with multiple issues and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. I spent 5 years as the Clinical Director of a PHP/IOP program where I would oversee the treatment of dual diagnosed patients of mental health and substance abuse.
Through all of my personal and professional experiences I have come to understand that we all are seeking meaning and purpose in life. I look forward to helping you find your meaning and purpose.
