About Me

Hello there!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with three years of experience. I received my Master of Science in Counseling degree from University of Phoenix in 2016 and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Arizona State University in 2012. I have additional certificates in trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and have attended several conferences. I have experience working in a variety of mental heath settings, including the regional behavioral health authority, adolescent residential treatment, the juvenile justice system, adult corrections outpatient treatment, substance abuse treatment, and community mental health.

I use a variety of client-centered approaches with my clients, including motivational interviewing, CBT, EFT, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have experience working with most diagnoses and concerns. I really enjoy assisting client address depression, stress and anxiety, relationships issues of all kinds, attachment issues, life transitions, self-esteem, and grief and loss. I am a proud ally of the LGBTQ community.

I consider myself very lucky to have the opportunity to work in a career that I am truly passionate about. I am an avid reader and enjoy learning new things to help my clients grow! I love helping my clients set and reach their goals. I am confident that my direct, but compassionate and supportive approach allows the clients I work with to gain the most benefit out of therapy services. I believe in the process of therapy and have had the pleasure of seeing first hand the results of hard work and willingness to grow. I look forward to helping you in the future! Let’s get started.
