About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado with rigorous training in CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I am trained in working with a trauma approach because so often there is trauma deep rooted in our issues. I work through a humanistic and solution focused lens and want to help clients reach their full potential and remain in control of their lives. I am dedicated to treating my clients with compassion and understand that every one moves at a different pace. I am committed to guiding my clients through difficult times and looking at past behaviors that have worked and not worked. I understand that reaching out for help can be a scary thing so my goal is always to create a safe place for people to grow and explore themselves on a deeper level.

I love speaking to Chanel and look forward to our video calls every week. Chanel is a great listener and makes me feel acknowledged and that my feelings are valid. Talking to Chanel is like talking to a friend. Previous counselors that I've had weren't as easy to talk to or relate to, but Chanel makes me feel comfortable, accepted, heard, and validated. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to work on themselves, their relationship, or whatever else. She will not disappoint! <3

Chanel is very understanding and respectful, in my initial sessions I felt at ease with here and was able to work through some things that were bothering me. She does a really good job of asking questions that help me to think about a topic in a deeper manner without being triggering. Overall she creates a very comfortable space for me to talk about things that i would not otherwise be able to work through on my own, and allows me to walk though my feelings. She is fantastic
