About Me

Welcome! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma and have been providing trauma-informed care for families, couples, and adults for over four years. My previous clinical experiences have been providing trauma treatment to survivors of human trafficking as a home-based counselor in the Tulsa area in addition to first responders and their families in a private practice setting. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Oklahoma State University and utilize EMDR, yoga, and attachment-focused interventions with clients who have faced both large and small adversities in their lives. I like to take a holistic and collaborative approach to psychotherapy that aims to integrate cultural humility, the mind, body, and embodied history of each person's story. Together, we can take steps towards cultivating relational health in all aspects of your life and compassionately address the relational wounds that interpersonal conflict may stem from. I believe that our relationships with others, ourselves, and our bodies ultimately shape our experience of well being, and it would be an honor to walk with you on that journey of self-discovery. Along the way, I will offer psychoeducation, reflection, and tangible tools to try in your life, but I also recognize that each person's needs are unique and that wellness will look different for each person. With that in mind, my goal is to tailor your treatment to your individual needs, and I actively work to make space for all identities, orientations, beliefs, and cultures in the room.

I've enjoyed working with Chelsea! I'm very hesitant on sharing too much or I tend to hold back out of fear but Chelsea knows how to create that safe space for you and shows so much grace. Usually I tend to feel so anxious about sharing anything but I look forward to each one of our meetings and she provides tools after each time.
