About Me

Greetings! My name is Chelsea Freelon and I am a Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have over 5 years of experience working with clients in correctional facilities, transitional living centers, inpatient and intensive outpatient settings. I specialize in clients going through transitional phases in life, clients who may be experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and clients looking to gain skills that will help with life’s inevitable challenges. My goal is to help others find hope and light during what may be seen as a dark time and reframe thinking to find appreciation and peace even during the challenges.

I approach each client with fresh eyes and meet you where you are! My office is a judgement free zone and I draw from my own experiences with grief and unexpected life events, as well as Cognitive Behavior approaches, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. In my “me time”, I have recently begun diving deeper into my understanding of Meditation, Manifestation, Yoga, Chakras and other Holistic approaches to self-care and balance.

I would love the opportunity to work with you! Whether our paths cross here or not, I am pleased that you have chosen to prioritize your mental health and wish you well along the journey.
