About Me

I don't just want you to feel better. I want you to be better. I use an electic approach for each of my clients because I view each client as an individual with unique needs. I have over 9 years of experience working specifically with children, youth, individuals & families in transistion. I feel that I have been helpful with my clients due to my clinical skills and compassion. Furthermore, I specialize in relationship issues and will work to find solutions to get 'unstuck' and more forward.

My Professional History:
She has gained her 3000+ clinical hours of experience in multiple settings including non-profit organizations, social services, residential facilities, private practice & psychiatric hospital. She is a Child Advocate and believes in working in the best interest of the client.

A Look At Chelsea’s Career:
Chelsea started her career in 2002 as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist in a residential treatment facility for severely emotionally disturbed teenagers. Here she developed curriculum specifically targeted at reducing behavioral acting out, increasing self-esteem and teaching effective communication skills.

Chelsea furthered her experience when she took a job as Director of Youth Program at the YWCA in Orange. Here she worked with children, youth & families in various settings. During this time she saw a huge need for additional programs & began writing curriculum and offering these programs to families. Some of these program included: “We’re Listening,” a children’s support group, and “It’s Your Choice” group program for youth teaching them to make safe, healthy choices that can lead to mental and physical well-being. Chelsea also served as the Group leader for “Just for Girls,” a YWCA program to strengthen, and build healthy attitude and leadership for young women. Since this time, Chelsea has managed Residential facilities, worked in Social Services, Case management, and Private Practice. Chelsea has spent 4 years working as a Crisis Counselor in a psychiatric hospital specializing in assessment, referral, and crisis including severe depression, anxiety, suicide, psychosis, trauma, and self-injurious behaviors.

In 2011 Chelsea opened a private practice in Long Beach California where she specialized in crisis, life transitions, sexual abuse and trauma. During this time she also founded MAP: Mothers Against Pedophiles, an non-profit organization to educate, empower and advocate for sexual abuse victims through literature, support groups and breaking the silence of sexual abuse.

Chelsea is currently working in the San Bernardino Mountains serving children, individuals, families and couples. She has written a sexual abuse handbook “Preventing Childhood Sexual Abuse: What Every Parent Should Know.”

Today, Chelsea continues her education through workshops, research and writing articles. She continues to volunteer in several organizations including Holiday Hope, an annual event for homeless families & children and My Sisters Closet, a program for women in transition.

Chelsea is a very comforting and supportive counselor. She acknowledges my feelings and provides me with information and strategies to help me through the difficult aspects of my life. I was definitely surprised at how helpful the online counseling could be, but it really has been a convenient, confidential, and caring experience that has helped me feel much more confident in a fairly short amount of time.

Chelsea has given me great perspective. Sometimes the best therapy is simply hearing another point of view to know that you're normal and your feelings are normal and you're not cRaZy. She has also provided invaluable resources to deal with the issues I am currently facing. I definitely recommend Chelsea to anyone dealing with relationship issues, sexual abuse and/or porn addiction. Thanks, Chelsea!

Chelsea has been getting me through some pretty rough times. Her advice is always spot on and her encouraging words have been so important at those times when I feel hopeless. I don't know what I would do without her ear.
