I am licensed in Alaska with over 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, & trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
As a therapist, I work with you to help you identify your desires and empower you to make those positive changes in your life. I understand that making the decision to seek help can be difficult, so I use an approach that is compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental to help create an environment where you feel supported in your counseling journey.
My therapy style is warm, energetic, and understanding. I believe in meeting people where they are at. I offer a non-judgmental and safe space for people to unpack difficult aspects of their lives and work to make sense of it all. I use a combination of modalities to meet the specific needs of my clients. However, I am deeply rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, humanistic approach, and relational approaches to treatment. Additionally, I am able to practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well.
