I am an Independently Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the counseling field since December of 2004. My work with clients includes, depression, anxiety, trauma, criminal thinking, anger management, parenting struggles, relationship struggles (including partners, friends, coworkers, etc.), Spectrum Disorder with support for family members, ADHD and family support, emotional regulation, behavior control, and many other struggles. I also have an extensive background in Foster Care and trauma.
I am a strong advocate for the people I work with and believe in treating all persons with respect and the compassion they need. I am an eclectic therapist who utilizes the therapy which best fits the situation. I am schooled in many different types of therapy including EMDR. I believe every situation is unique and deserves a unique therapeutic approach.
As there are various reasons people enter into counseling, I look forward to working with you on discovering what steps may need to be taken and which approach helps one to accomplish their goals.
I look forward to working with you!
